Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- B.E./B.Tech in the relevant Engineering discipline.
- Final-year engineering students are also eligible, subject to fulfilling the conditions mentioned in the official notification.
Age Limit
SSC (Tech) Men & Women
- 20 to 27 Years
For widows of Defence Personnel (SSCW Tech/Non-Tech), the upper age limit is 35 years.
Selection Process
Selection is based on:

- SSB Interview (Stage I & Stage II)
- Medical Examination
- Final Merit List
There is no written examination for SSC (Tech) Entry.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive salary as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
During Training
- Stipend: ₹56,100 per month
After Commissioning
- Lieutenant: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (Level-10)
