📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection matrix relies entirely on a merit list prepared through two distinct assessment stages. There is no interview component involved in this drive.

  1. Online Written Test: A 1-hour computer-based objective examination carrying 100 marks.

  2. Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates must clear a test demonstrating reading, writing, and speaking fluency in the specified local language of the state they are applying from. (Candidates who submit 10th or 12th marksheets showing they studied the local language are generally exempted).

Written Exam Structure

The test comprises 100 objective questions divided into four distinct components (15 minutes allotted per section):

  • General/Financial Awareness (25 Qs / 25 Marks)

  • General English (25 Qs / 25 Marks)

  • Quantitative Aptitude (25 Qs / 25 Marks)

  • Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (25 Qs / 25 Marks)

⚠️ Negative Marking: There is a penalty for wrong answers. 1/4th of the mark assigned to a question will be deducted for every incorrect response. Except for General English, the exam can be attempted in Hindi, English, and 13 distinct regional languages.

💸 Application Fee

The processing fee must be paid purely via online modes (Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, or UPI):
